GCE’s campus is located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on Chicago’s north side. reflect a state-of-the-art environment for learning. The school is a living ecosystem for student engagement and ownership; its design manifests the learning model. The following unique styles of spaces assist in drawing out student and staff purpose, process, potential, and excellence:
  • Maker Lab which houses 3D & 2D printing for collaborative workshops with small group discussion, and individual/small group work
  • Workshop Studios for 3D building, fashion, & design; visual arts; and large group gathering
  • Conservatory for eco-activities, social gatherings, presentations, and music
  • “Traditional” classrooms for workshops & classes, conversation, mind-mapping, and test-taking
  • Micro-theatres (large classrooms) designed for audio/visual presentations & productions, drama, small group discussions, and large group reporting
  • Student Lounge
  • Kitchen for cooking classes, “kitchen table” discussions, and events
  • Conference rooms & Offices (open concept/shared & private) for meetings, private discussions, independent and small group work spaces, and video conferencing
Our campus is located in the beautiful and safe Lincoln Park neighborhood on Chicago’s north side. The nearby Red Line train stop, Metra station, and bus lines make GCE’s campus remoarkably accessible to the entire city.
