Who Am I? is a 9th-grade humanities class in GCE Lab School’s Global Context series.
This specific project was created for students to imagine what a better world might be for their identity. I think giving students an opportunity to create visual models elevates the student’s writing ability. They’re more invested in the writing because of their visual representation of it. The students are challenged with grappling and understanding a multiplicity of identities, including their own.
