Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development is offering GCE’s ReDesigning the Future class as part of its Spectrum Online Summer Program for 6th–8th-grade students. The three-week, 1-credit course challenges students to imagine incorporating biology into our built environments through biomimicry and identify a utility, system, or service to make it more efficient through design thinking.
The class will run Monday through Friday for three weeks beginning June 28, 2021. Register for the program by June 1 to reserve your spot. Financial aid is available for qualified students.
The Spectrum Online program provides rigorous, high school-level coursework for students ready for additional challenge in their area of strength. Over the course of three weeks, students develop critical and creative problem solving skills through applied practice in subjects from math and science to writing and technology. Honors courses carry high school credit from CTD.
