What does peace look like in your community?

An Online Installation of student projects in Global Peace, an Elective class in the Global Vision series.

In Global Peace, students investigate Gandhi’s four principles of nonviolent movement building and their place in our society today. Through conflict mapping, historical analysis, film critiquing, and evaluating nonviolent protest techniques, students learn about the philosophy, economy, politics, and tools of nonviolence.

As the saying goes, “knowing is half the battle,” so students in the Global Peace class also take action. They put into practice the four principles; they conceive, construct, and execute a nonviolent intervention to address an issue in their community.
